Big Ben is at it again. This time though, people don't seem to be as forgiving.
For the second time in less than a year, Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault. This time it is from a 20 year old college student in Milledgeville, GA. These recent accusations have caused many of Roethlisberger's supporters to question his character.
You would think that after the initial accusation last year, Roethlisberger would be more careful and aware of what he is doing off the field. I know that I would if I were him. Apparently Ben disagrees with my way of thinking. I guess, that's why he is an NFL quarterback and I'm not.
This situation is starting to sound similar to the Adam "Pacman" Jones fiasco of years past. People will remember Pacman was constantly having "issues" at strip clubs. By issues I mean run ins with the local law enforcement department.
Roethlisberer was accused last July by a woman that he raped her at a Lake Tahoe hotel & casino in 2008. Now these allegations have come about after Roethlisberger was at a night club in Georgia this past week.
Even if the first sexual assault accusation turns out to be false, the negative publicity that he got from it should have taught him a lesson. Unfortunately, it didn't.
Maybe Ben should invest some of his $102 million dollar contract into some common sense. It may pay better dividends than the stock market for him.
